Beautiful light pink color with aromas of rose petals, raspberry compote and hints of pink grapefruit. With a touch of lemon zest, there’s a wonderful balance of creamy and mineral textures on the palate that help to create a refreshing bliss.
Food Pairing Notes: Excellent with lighter fare such as citrus summer salad, fresh feta with strawberries and balsamic, rosemary grilled white fish, or with richer, spicier dishes like bbq ribs, beef vindaloo, charcuterie.
SILVER, 2017 SF International Wine Competition
The 2016 vintage offered ideal ripening conditions, allowing for full fruit maturity while preserving the natural acidity. Grapes were harvested at optimum maturity and lots kept separate until final blending. Wine was barrel fermented and aged for over 4 months in neutral oak barrels on light lees before being blended for bottling.
