About Our Giving

At Harney Lane, we have been blessed in so many ways. We are humbled by the goodwill and resources handed down by generations before us. In the same way that we practice sustainability in our vineyards, we wish to extend Harney Lane’s stewardship into our community.

Our company strives to positively influence the lives of all we interact with. We feel strongly that this purpose includes the support of our local region and the community at large through charitable giving. We are proud to contribute to many outstanding organizations, both financially and through our in-kind donations program.

We welcome all requests, but have chosen to focus the majority of our resources on targeted programs that assist underserved populations, including the One-Eighty Center, supporting Lodi youth and families, and the Salvation Army. Cancer awareness is another critically important cause to our family. It has touched us personally through the life of our Patriarch, George Mettler, along with many loved ones over the years. We contribute directly to cancer research and are proud partners of the American Cancer Society.

In George’s honor, 10% of all proceeds from the sales of our Patriarch’s Promise wine go toward this cause. Learn more about the history of our Patriarch’s Promise here.
