SILVER, 2019 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition ~ SILVER, 2019 West Coast Wine Competition
The 2016 vintage was harvested earlier than usual and experienced lower rainfall during the growing season. The vineyards for this Zinfandel blend were quick to ripen, with good natural acidity and dark color. Smaller berries yielded that deeper color and fruit intensity, making for a bolder style vintage.
