Bright yellow stone fruits come to the forefront, with floral and perfume notes enchanting the zesty citrus fruit core. The palate is round and fleshy, but a racy, vibrant acidity keeps it light and refreshing. Crisp and delicious served ice cold!
The 2018 growing season played out like a dream for winemakers. Moderate temperatures in spring and summer provided a prolonged season for maturing. The Albariño grapes were hand harvested in early morning, then cool grapes were pressed whole cluster to tank for cold settling. Juice was clean racked and fermented cold with select yeast strains. Wine was racked to stainless steel barrels and carefully selected neutral oak barrels, then aged, sur lie, for a short period before blending for an early spring bottling.
