The 2021 vintage is characterized as one of the best vintages in recent history. Drought conditions produced lower yields and smaller berry sizes, resulting in a moderate growing season which allowed for ideal flavor development.
This Rosé is produced by hand-harvesting the grapes and placing them whole-cluster into the press. The grapes are pressed at lower pressures, resulting in lower juice yields and a more delicate juice extraction, hence the lighter color and texture of the wine. The juice is fermented cold in stainless steel tanks for a prolonged fermentation, and then racked into neutral oak barrels for two months of aging before bottling.
