This Primitivo showcases aromas of wild berries and spiced cherries. There are sweet floral notes with hints of vanilla, rhubarb and strawberry jam with undertones of tobacco, baked plum and dried berries. This wine sits pleasantly on the palate and lingers into a fantastic finish.
Pairing Suggestions: The bright, sweet fruit flavors and spices of our Lot 17 Primitivo make it a suitable match for spicy foods. Thai curry, chicken masala or sweet and spice baby back ribs are all an excellent choice pairing. Primitivo also pairs well with hearty dishes such as autumn beef stew, cioppino and meatball marinara.

This three vintage blend offers the elegance of the 2013 vintage as well as the concentration of the 2014 and 2015 vintages. Made in small batch lots with hand punch downs, each lot was kept separate for final evaluation and blending. The wine was aged for a minimum of 30 months in American Oak.
