The 2015 vintage was more concentrated due to the lighter rainfall, warm spring and lower than normal crop load. The Tempranillo were the last grapes of the season to be harvested at Harney Lane and enjoyed the longest time for optimal ripeness. This longer time on the vine allowed the tannins to go from green to more ripe and mature, which means less bitterness and a more supple structure in the final product
