Brimming with pretty aromas of lemon meringue, floral lime and wet sea stone, this Albariño showcases a more fleshy style, with abundant fruit and an exquisitely smooth finish. Light and crisp, this medium-bodied Albariño is refreshingly brisk and clean when served quite cold.
GOLD, 2018 Orange County Wine Competition
The 2017 vintage offered a unique growing season that combined abundant rainfall with generous amounts of warm, late season temperatures. These growing conditions yielded healthy vines allowed the fruit to fully mature. Hand harvested in the early morning, cool Albariño grapes were pressed whole cluster to tank for cold settling. The juice was then clean racked and fermented cold with select yeast strains. Wine was racked to a portion stainless steel barrels and some carefully selected neutral oak barrels, then aged, sur lie, for a short period before being blended for an early spring bottling.
